Geography Peng Chau has an area of 0.99 km 2 (0.38 sq mi) and a perimeter of about 5 km (3.1 mi). The tallest point of the island is Finger Hill (手指山), which is 95 m (312 ft) in height.

Save room for dessert—and for a glimpse of Peng Chau's colonial past. Our friend Karen, a long time island resident, recently opened a little cafe inside the old Peng Chau elementary school complex. The school building dates from the 1930s. Tea and cake at Karen's tearoom is a lovely way to experience a little piece of Hong Kong's past.
