Directions. From Alpine: Drive north 2 miles to forest road 249. Turn west and travel down a nice gravel/dirt road 5 miles to forest road 276. Turn south and travel 7.5 miles to the Aspen Campgrounds. From Big Lake: Travel east on FR113 (Big Lake Entrance) to FR249 (It's basically the same road) past Three Forks to FR403.

A long trail around Værløse with a fantastic mix of different landscapes. The trail goes through several forests, including Frederiksdal forest and Store Hareskov, where you can enjoy the beautiful green surroundings. The trail will also go along Lake Furresø, Lake Farum, Lake Søndersø and many other small streams and lakes. It is both possible to cycle and walk this trail.

Stayed two nights on the lower level (site 22) near the Conejos river. Sites are well spaced, with trees between each. The camp hosts, Bill and Deb, were very helpful and friendly. The fly fishing was challenging - trout were active but difficult to catch. We camped at Rio Grande National Forest - Aspen Glade Campground in a Motorhome.
