Shadowrun Mega CD Translation Guide There used to be Shadowrun Mega CD Translation Guide zip file on gamefaqs that had translations of the Kanji menus and other useful information. It was posted by the user 'Otaku84 returns' but it is no longer there. The user's review of the game is also missing. Does anyone know where to find this?

At this point I'm banking more on playing it once google translate is a bit better from the AR side of things, or you can screen overlay it. Currently the menu with my phone looks like this

Well, looks like in a few months (or possibly years.) I can stop saying that. I have heard Japan took a lot of liberties with Shadowrun, but Japan does good work with.

#1 I've been wondering if theres any good sites out there explaining ways of translating the text in sega cd games. Is it as annoying as translating saturn games. F fonzievoltonov Aug 3, 2004 #2 Its like translating a genesis game. You just need to rebuilt the iso after the translation (and include the segacd header of the original iso).

Been a long time coming… It has begun, chummers. Esper managed to get the script inserted. We have yet to do any tweaking, but it's there! Basically at this point we need to fine tune it, correct any erroneous pointers(see the black screen in the battles), and hopefully apply a fixed-width font so the sentences actually fit.

That's pretty awesome, Shadowrun for Sega CD has been one of those games that I've always wanted to play. and in a more general sense, it'd be awesome to see a translation of a Japanese-language Sega CD game. There haven't been any, so far, but the system does have some games that would be interesting to play in English, like After Armageddon.
