The route to Moses Creek Falls begins on the outside of a sharp right switchback on F.R. 4651 a few miles off Caney Fork Road. A light rain had begun at this point so there was a sense of urgency for reaching the falls as I knew things were only going to get wetter as the day went on. Too bad this was also the longest hike of the day.

The trail down to Moses Creek Falls is quite a steep descent for which good footwear is recommended. Depending on the season or after a recent rainfall, it can be muddy and slippery. To avoid taking the same way back up, an alternate route is available via the gravel road for a more gradual hike back up to the car.

The hike begins in the curve in FR-4651 and follows a path upstream along Moses Creek. At about 0.6 miles, the trail crosses Moses Creek, which will be a wade in high water. At 1.2 miles is a crossing of West Fork Moses Creek. Right after crossing, turn left and follow an overgrown path upstream to the base of lowest portion of Moses Creek Falls.
