Description. Gasteria nitida var. armstrongii, also known as Gasteria armstrongii, is a dwarf, slow-growing succulent similar to but much smaller than Gasteria nitida var. nitida. It can be distinguished by its very dark green, retuse, distichous, roughly tuberculate leaves.
