Jul 2021. We were so excited to see a NEW Drive-In theater coming to Delaware and that it was in our own town! We went to the Bear Drive-in on opening night, 7/30/2021. Gates opened at 7pm and ticket sales were in person only for opening weekend (online tickets sales will be offered in the future). There was a line to get in, which we expected.

The Bear Drive-in is the only operating drive-in movie theater in the state of Delaware. Before the opening of the Bear Drive-in, the last drive-in in Delaware closed back in 2008. Normally, admission prices are $15 for adults, $11 for children and free for kids 4 and under.

As the 2007 season winds down, theater operators Donald Brown, 44, of Felton, and Patricia Creigh, 36, of Lincoln, Del., are uncertain if their piece of post-war Americana.
