The German car and bike maker has reintroduced the R100RS, a motorcycle whose engine dates back to the late 1960s, a motorcycle first sold in 1977, a motorcycle unavailable for the last three years. While such a move might be suicidal for Honda, it makes perfect sense for BMW. But in bringing back the RS, BMW isn't following any master plan.
