This phenomenal beach is certainly one of the best on Sithonia, and probably the entire Halkidiki peninsula. It is known under several names - Orange beach, Kavourotrypes, Portokali. Kavourotrypes is actually the name of the 5 km long coast and along this coast there's a lot of coves with white sand and turquoise water.

This pretty well describes this beach which amounts to many small white sand coves that are found over kilometers of coastline. Access to Orange beach is not so easy. Drive north from Sarti about 10 minutes and you will see the signs on the right for Portokali.

To find these beaches you need to leave the main street of east Sithonia and cross a very difficult dirt road for about 350 meters up to the coastline. There is a group of small beaches which continue from Orange beach to the south to Platanitsi is Almyrompares beach and north to Armenistis is the Kampouris beach (Serbs call it Dukina).
