KLM Royal Dutch Airlines' first Airbus 330-300 to be fitted with the new World Business Class cabin interior made its first flight over the weekend to Havana (KL723). The cabin refit for the remaining 20% of KLM's fleet will be completed by the end of 2018. In addition to the new design, there will be full-flat seats and a new inflight entertain.

Today (January 27, 2021): KLM A330 Business Class from Amsterdam to St Maarten. Last year, I flew Business Class onboard a KLM Royal Dutch Airline Airbus A330 from Amsterdam to the Caribbean island of St Maarten. KLM recently completed an extensive refurbishment of the Business Class cabins of its A330 fleet (which comprises 13 aircraft).

KLM Boeing 777-300ER Business Class seating. Aboard the 777-300ER, the KLM Business Class cabin has a 2-2-2 layout. Which is my chief criticism of this otherwise most enjoyable flight. Given I was flying solo, I would have much preferred a single seat on the window - especially given the flight time clocks in at over 12 hours.

BEN SAYS: KLM's Boeing 737s offer a pleasant experience in business class by intra-Europe standards, with excellent legroom, power ports, friendly service, and decent food. The only thing missing is Wi-Fi. After flying from Chicago to Amsterdam on the KLM Boeing 787-10, it was time to connect to Stockholm on a KLM Boeing 737-800.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has 2 types of Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Unlike the Boeing 777 aircrafts of KLM, all these Dreamliners have a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone configuration in World Business Class. In my opinion, this is a huge improvement for the KLM hard product in World Business Class.
