Does anyone have a few color schemes for late war panthers. I wanted to try something unique for my current panther build.. Both tanks were built 95% OOB, with some necessary extra detailing on the night vision device on the Panther A. I always liked this scheme, and it was a cinch to do! Try it! YOu too, paradox01! Dark Red Primer Germany then used the RAL colour system which is still in use today, although some of the most famous Panzer colours, i.e. Dunkelgelb, have been discontinued. You can order RAL colour sample books from various sources, they tend to start at $ 50.

The tank factories involved in the application of this new scheme included Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg (MAN), Maschinenfabrik Niedersachsen-Hannover (MNH), Daimler-Benz, Demag, Niebelungenwerk, Skoda, Henschel and Krupp.The new Panthers rolling off the production lines at MAN, MNH and Daimler-Benz were amongst the vehicles that received this new camouflage scheme.

For this build, I was also sent this set of paints (for the Panther G) by Mig Ammo which consists of twelve colours for use with the Panther tank. While the set was developed for a Panther G by another manufacturer, most of the colours are applicable so I will be using them for this build, and just let the colours do the talking in the photos as I will be painting throughout the whole build.

THE COLOURS The two main colours are Rotbraun (RAL8017) and Dunkelgelb (RAL7028), with Elfenbein breaking them up to match the World of Tanks scheme. The choice of colours certainly didn't seem to translate well in the footage.

Gender:Male. Location:Canada. Posted September 8, 2022. It's unlikely that Panther crews would apply brown and green paint to their vehicles, because an order in September 1944 instructed the factories to apply the three paints directly to the primed surfaces.

To apply the Olive Green and Red Brown colours by hand it is best to build up the colour slowly; the application of a few light coats is better than a single thick coat. Begin by filling in each area with the intended colour then start building up the colour. The best way to apply the paint is by working your way around the model.

The German Army used most of the time a system based in three colours ,a base made of a Dark Yellow/tan colour (Factory Applied so rather uniform in colour shade) and a camo scheme over the base made of two (Or only one, that was the crew choice) colours called Red Brown and dark Gree ,please note that these are not the official names but the mo.
