Saffron & Pistachio Swedish Skorpor (Christmas Biscotti)

Mat 365 Skorpor

Skorpor, also known as Swedish Rusks, are a popular breakfast and snack food in Sweden. They are essentially twice-baked bread that has been sliced thinly and dried to create a crunchy and satisfying snack. Traditionally, they are made with rye flour and served with a variety of toppings. This recipe, however, opts for a sweeter version made with nuts and wheat flour for a more decadent flavor.
