Update 8/10/2023: Carowinds' Fury 325 is now back open after cracks were discovered on the ride's supporting beam. According to a statement by Carowinds, the repairs of any cracks on Fury 325 have been completed and the ride has reopened. This photo of Carowinds' Fury 325 shows the crack in a support beam. (Tiffany Newton/Provided) When zoomed in, you can see the crack along the left side of the beam, meaning this structural failure had likely been forming for at least seven days. Carowinds released a statement after shutting down the ride that says in part quote:
